When these Drums are played, not only do you hear the sound of the rhythm, you also feel the energy and vibrations coming from these powerful Drums. In much the same way as an unborn Child hears and feels the Heart Beat of the Mother. Playing the Drum is a great way to relieve the stress of everyday life and will help to improve your overall health, mentality, physically and Spiritually. In the U.S., Drum Circles are becoming more popular everyday, as more people discover the benefits of group drumming. And the most popular drum at these Drum Circles are the African Djembe , also known as the Healing Drum. I would encourage everyone, young and old to discover the joys of drumming, dancing to the beat of the drums or just listening to the beat of the drum.
